Hey @jdittrich !

Thanks for taking the time to raise an issue, your insight is much appreciated.

I think the way you've set that out makes sense and would be a welcome change to how the UI is currently.

There have been quite a few different suggestions for the UI and there are a lot around how actions should be placed. One that does seem to work is removing the actions from a tab and adding them into the header instead.

What are your thoughts on that part of the UI?

Yes, I think it would make a lot of sense.
Some could be placed better otherwise i think (like add column in my mock-up), but actions that apply to the whole board (save, load etc.) would be well placed in the header
