State of the project?

Hi @jhcepas,

I would like to know what is the state of the project. Are you still maintaining it? Would you advise the use of another tool for the same features?

BCBio allows parsing gff files.
It would be easy to read custom annotations from GFF files, and override or append those data to the base GB file.

editing options for easy GB annotation and feature correction

provide a basic web front end to change some common features, such as gene coordinates, gene names, etc..

cache chunksize setting affects visibility of genes in the genome view tracks

When gene length is higher than chunksize, they are not shown.
I have added a fix in the code that automatically set chunksize to the total length of the chrmosome, but this results in a very heavy an inefficient browsing experience.

To reproduce, you can fix chunksize to i.e. 50.000 and try the human chr example.
