Hello everybody,

I have tried to install effect games, but I can't find the file "index.html" in order to use effect games from a server, So i've treid to create a file "index.html" but it doesn't work. If there is anyone who has a solution to this problem please don't tell me,

i am getting this error when trying to signup
HTTP ERROR: 505: (URL: http://98.90.34.6/effect/api/user_create)

and this when trying to login as admin
HTTP ERROR: 505: (URL: http://98.90.34.6/effect/api/user_login)

i dont have a api directory other than one in the magik directory

I'm trying to install the engine on my server (an Ubuntu VPS with plenty of resources). The list of packages provided in the installation document is helpful but could do with a couple of improvements.

The easy bit - the last four packages required in the list are duplicated further up in the list.

The more involved bit - do you think you could say why the packages are used? You see, the names are different between Fedora and Ubuntu - something like libxml2-devel is easy, it becomes libxml2-dev, but the only match I could find for expat-devel is liblua5.1-expat-dev, and I'm not certain that Lua is used. There's nothing obviously equivalent to e2fsprogs-devel in the repository and I can't see how rpm-build would be necessary!

Your work is amazing! Not really an issue, but on your github, the sourcecode for the Canvas Cycle demo is missing, and the original link does not work anymore. I would really like to download it, as I find this demo so very beautiful!

Would it be possible to reupload the sourcecode on github? Thank you very much in advance!

Is it possible to use the engine without the server ?

Am I missing something? I get tto the point it says "it works!" is there not a better default page to get it all started?

I have been at this for about 2 days now. Nothing but errors and issues.

My latest I cannot figure out is when running make or make install on mod_perl I get this error

"modperl_const.c:54:21: error: lvalue required as left operand of assignment"
