Ah, I understand. Heroku instances cannot write to disk, so the impression of having post saved is just RAM cache. I'll be updating the app.json
file later today and add if else closures to check whether PostgreSQL environment variables are present and use them if so.

PostgreSQL support seems to work now. I also added app.json to have it as an add-on when deploying to Heroku.
