HTAccess

I've seen that htaccess code before, for removing the need for index.php, right? For some reason I can't get it working on the production server.

Style individual job view page

Style the page that can be linked to from the job board, where users can read the full job description (e.g. http://www.a2lamp.com/jobs/1)

Users pick whether they want to learn or teach on topic

When suggesting topics, users should be able to say whether they want to learn or present. Likewise, users should be able to come by later and volunteer to teach for a suggested topic missing a teacher.

Tagging topics (predefined list)

As a user,
I would like to be able to tag topics I submit based on subject matter,
so that I can browse similar topics by tag.

Make job board pull from database

No Photo No Access

Jason stumbled onto this one. It seems ( my guess ) that if you don't have a picture set on meetup.com the API call to login results in a bunch of CI errors.

I think this might have something to do with the code used to grab a user's image?

Add the ability to archive topics

Let's archive topics when they are covered at a meetup, by date.

Admin functionality

We should probably store if the user is a meetup organizer and give them admin features (i.e. ability to edit / delete any topic).

Add author name & avatar to topics

Show summary/feed of recent updates, site commits, issues, minutes, etc on homepage.

It might be nice to put a feed or summary of meetup updates or site updates (i.e. new features, bug fixes, etc) on the homepage.

Add comments to archived topics / meetups.

PHP errors on the current topics page.

We should (1) fix the errors & (2) change the environment in index.php to production, to shut off errors in production.

I'd really like it if we got things so that database.php and config.php dont' get overwritten each time. Each developer and the server should have their own copy.

Add 'read more' to topics

Instead of the columns auto-expanding on hover. Let's show two sentences with a read more button that makes it exand on click.

Currently, any meetup member can login to a2lamp.com. We should try to restrict to only members of the A2Lamp meetup.
