Looks like this project is abandoned, thats sad.

Improving the diversity of the list

Firstly, it's great this exists! However, looking at the list, there's not much diversity in terms of the authors. It would be great to feature a more individuals from underrepresented groups. How can we make this happen?

Why did you create another awesome list ?

Add a short description about the blog

Maybe it would be useful to have people's position / area / theme

It might help people to find new blogs of people they do not know.

The site seems to actually belong to one Kashyap Kondamudi

Is the data here wikipedia style democratic and I can edit it (and send a PR) or would you prefer an open issue to track and ask for changes?

What should the rules be?

Hello all!

Wow this project really took off! One thing I'd love feedback on is what the rules should be for qualification on the list?

Should we allow things like Medium pages or only personal domains?
If someone has a company site where they blog, should we allow that?
What about non-tech blogs?

Made a simple web app version of the list. Complete with an API!

What should the list look like?

Hey @fjoshuajr @lipis @hugmanrique @aletaschner

All of you submitted awesome ideas for what the list should look like! PRs were coming in so fast yesterday it kind of got lost in the shuffle so I was hoping to move the conversation into a single thread.

My thinking was:

Make it a Markdown table
Maybe a separate table for each letter of the alphabet?
Add at least a field for what subjects the person talks about

How does that sound? Should we do something different? Hope you don't mind but I'm gonna close the other issues in favor of discussing it all in here!

Machine parseable blog list

On #7, bilgint1500 sorted the blog list alphabetically by hand. A better way to do this automatically would be to create a source JSON file and a Node.js/Python/whatever script that ordered the entries alphabetically.

This would also give others the possibility of retrieving the raw JSON data for custom UIs, RSS feeds...
