deploy-to-cf's Issues

Show output during / after deployment

At the moment, applications deploy synchronously within a single request, and no output is displayed to the user. We might want to deploy from a task queue rather than doing it in-request, and we should definitely tell the user more about what's going on. Some possibilities include:

  • Show a loading message, then display URL(s) of deployed app(s) on success / error on fail
  • Cool option: tail live output of cf push to the browser via websocket

Orthogonal question: we can continue deploying in-request, or deploy from a queue using something like https://github.com/RichardKnop/machinery.
