After downloading a chapter from nhentai and the force closing app from task manager (swiping from navigation button) the green downloaded badge is missing after loading the library, and it only happen to nhentai downloaded doujin / manga, but it can be open without connection, and the doujin/manga cant be deleted from app

Instead of downloading the entire chapter, user can download a portion of gallery for offline viewing. This could help if users like only a certain portion of the chapter, or don't want to download the whole chapter. Especially useful for Ehentai galleries which can have more than 1k pages.

Add a ranged page download feature, where user can download custom page (ie, pg 352-675 instead of 1-1000)

1. go to settings for enabling original tachiyomi view once a manga is selected from library ( the option is now no longer present)

Normal TachiSY view is observed with only one tab where all chapters are listed below the manga description and the tracking has a small button just right there.

I use TachiyomiSY in English, but my Android's locale is Spanish. The thing is, for a while now, if my Android's locale is Spanish, TachiyomiSY appears as Tachiyomi in the app list, and a /storage/emulated/0/Tachiyomi/ folder appears with the logs folder inside. Local manga still works under /storage/emulated/0/TachiyomiSY/local . If I change Android's locale to English or Japanese, this problem disappears.

I think the problem is related to https://github.com/jobobby04/TachiyomiSY/blob/master/app/src/main/res/values-b%2Bes%2B419/strings.xml , especifically this: <string name="app_name" translatable="false">Tachiyomi</string> , which should be changed to "TachiyomiSY".

QoL feature. When reading fast-paced webtoons, I usually scroll bit by bit, a lot, which means a lot of tap-sliding up. This, sometimes, gets interpreted by the app as a double-tap, which means it will now zoom out instead of scroll.

Very frustrating because getting back exactly to 0 zoom is really difficult without leaving and re-entering the view.

What/Requirements

(TachiyomiJ2K already has this, and it's the feature I miss the most).

Would be a toggle in the settings menu that can be accessed in the reader view by tapping anywhere (something like "Allow to zoom") and, when disabled, the app would not allow zooming at all. More ambitiously, there could be a toggle to set this to apply to all kinds of a certain type of reader (Manga / Webtoon / etc.).

In EH the chapter function is not used for chapters but for the individual revisions of the gallery. For this reason you will want to open the last/newest chapter in almost all cases for these sources. However, the floating start button opens the oldest/first unread chapter which is undesirable for this source. A configuration option to reverse this behaviour would make it possible to start reading the content in EH/EXH without scrolling to the end of the page first.

If you prefer to use cropping for manga but also frequently read webtoons you're now stuck in a loop of having to turn cropping on and off for every other thing you read. For webtoons, you rarely want cropping do to the misalignments, text cutting, and sometimes adding weird-looking borders to smaller inline images. As for manga, well I have never really found a pressing "non-OCD" need to disable cropping for manga.

What/Requirements

Add a separate toggle for webtoons or just disable cropping for the webtoon view mode by default, or something something new UX stuff.

Can you add migration features same as orginal tachiyomi. In original you don't have to search more it can directly search pinned source but in sy we have to select sources or it will be automatically selected.

Currently you are only ale to add tracking after you add a manga to the library, exit browse, return to library then going into manga and adding tracking.

A lot of times I find manga that I have read years ago and didn't track it and want to add it to my tracking not would have to go through the whole process just to add it to my tracking.

What/Requirements

Like how in J2K and Neko had the tracking button right next to the "add to library", once you go into a manga. Does not require manga to be in library to start tracking.

After the latest update, with the Mangadex delegation thing, I have noticed two problems.

1. Can't search on Mangadex anymore, even if logged in via webview. Disabling delegated sources doesn't solve it.

This requires some explanation. In the previous version of TachiyomiSY, I was logged in on Mangadex via webview and thus searches worked. Then I updated to the new TachiyomiSY version. At first, searches worked fine in the new version too. Later I noticed if I opened Mangadex on webview I didn't appear as logged in, which was strange, because searches worked. I cleared cookies as a test, and then searches didn't work anymore, as clearing cookies must have logged me out for good. But the thing is, from this point on, no matter if I log in via webview, or disable/enable delegated sources, searches never work anymore.

2. Mangadex extension settings (server, data saver...) aren't accesible anymore, regardless whether delegated sources are enabled or disabled. I don't know if this is intended.

An exhentai gallery in my library has duplicate chapters, and I can infinitely scroll the last chapter into itself

Current thumbnails one Global search are square cropped and look awful, not to mention inconsistent with the ones in Library and Browse.

Thus requesting to change Global search thumbnails to that of Library.

Since this: https://github.com/inorichi/tachiyomi-extensions/commit/14e644d358be7c66057bd7ef5b49bfc87f6e1f09 , the new version of the Madokami extension doesn't work properly in SY only. When you go to Madokami's settings, SY crashes.

Maybe it's because this commit from upstream isn't merged here yet: https://github.com/inorichi/tachiyomi/pull/3261/commits .

I use SY's latest apk from the preview builds.

Download nhentai file badge is not showing but file is opening without any issues. But I am unable to delete file after reading because it is download but not showing.

TachiyomiJ2K and Neko already have this feature and it is very usefull. Neko and TachiyomiJ2K have 3 options for grouping. Tag, status and tracking status or Sources. We can use grouping by tag, status and Sources. It could be hard to implement because the other 2 apps use diffrent design.

Webtoon mode will be force triggered for all comics tagged as Long Strip, Webtoon(s), Manhua and Manhwa, and user don't have to change their reader mode when switching from Manga to webtoons.

Can be added as a toggle under Reader settings. Feature would work same way as on TachiJ2k. J2k also forces webtoons for certain sources like Webtoons which doesn't have webtoon tag, but has only webtoons.

This is the same with the tags of the manga. If there are a lot of tags, it requires horizontal scrolling. It will be much easier if I can see all the tags at once.

Maybe merge "In library" and "set category" to one so long press on "In library" will result in the category pop up like in J2K

In EH in large CG collections, many almost identical images appear one after the other. A button to go through several pages at once would help to get to the next section more easily, especially since navigating with the scrollbar in very large collections is often very inaccurate.

As can be seen in the image, the "S" in "EXTENSIONS" doesn't align well now that there's also the "LATEST" section. My device's width is 1080 pixels, which should be fairly common. I use the latest APK from the preview builds.
