Select text in (any) visual mode, then execue:

,i to surround selection with if(){}
,f to surround selection with for(){}

Installation:
- put blocksurround.vim in your ~/.vim/plugin directory

Notes:
- Requires python
- Uses JavaScript syntax

Todo:
 - Rewrite without python
 - Add filetype support
