Always having to make the same empty directories so they exist when I'm ready to dev is weak work.

Base directories

• ~/go
• ~/src
• ~/bin
• ~/envs
• ~/.vim_swap
• ~/.vim_undo

The author doesn't expand in the docs snippet.

Create some fabric tasks to install some of the base stuff that I always install. Off the top of my head, I'm thinking homebrew. I know there are others, but that's where my heads at right now.

Homebrew Installs

• python (2.7)
• cmake
• tree
• ctags
• vim
• wget
• htop
• cowsay
• fortune
• perforce
• go
• coreutils
• macvim
• dotfiles (how meta)
• git
• Source Code Pro Font (Done with powerline)
• vundle

Right now we've got one huge task that does everything and that's ok-ish, but we should split this up a bit so that when someone just wants to install the desktop apps and not the development stuff, it can be run easily.

Since we're already doing everything else automagically we might as well do this. Might be good to split up the pieces that can be used to help with #4 here as well.

Right now I only know that they're good for OSX, but they should be portable enough to run on OSX or Linux (otherwise why have a repo). So figure out what's broken and what isn't.

We can setup almost all of our environment thus far, but seemed to have missed installing our vim plugins and fonts.
