EAgric is an android agricultural app-based tool designed for local farmers to help in the process of their farming or agricultural inquiries.

The EAgric app was designed with the following features:

2. Weather Report
3. Chat Environment

News

This is a feature that provides information for users on different agricultural related updates ranging from news on latest research updates to available grants and loan opportunities to even the basic average news on best cultivation period.

Weather Report

This feature provides updates on different weather changes at different locations in the state allowing farmers to determine the better time for cultivation of certain crops or products.

Chat Environment

This feature is an enviroment where users can chat and ask problems pertaining to issues faced during the process of crop cultivation or other agricultural related questions.

Operating Environment

The operating system for the mobile application is the Android OS, more specifically android OS version 4.1 and above, this is because React Native was used for developing the application.

App Permissions

The app would requires some permissions from te device to function which without it, it might not function properly. Some of which are:

1. Internet connection:
This is required for coonection to the app database and online services so as to load news update, refresh weather reports and enable the sending and receival of news in the chat environment.


2. Location Services:
This is also essential as it helps provide the location of the user so as to know which city location's weather report to load for users.
