Expense Tracker Webapp

Overview

This Expense Tracker Webapp is designed to help users track their spending on various credit and debit cards. By keeping an eye on your expenses, you can ensure that you meet the minimum spending requirements for cashback and other rewards. Additionally, for added convenience, you can input your spending through a Telegram chatbot.

Architecture

  1. Frontend: Built with React, providing a dynamic and responsive user interface.
  2. Backend: Node.js and Express handle the server-side logic and API endpoints.
  3. Database: MongoDB stores user data, transaction records, and card details.
  4. Chatbot Integration: Telegram Bot API allows users to input their spending through a Telegram chatbot.
  5. Authentication: User authentication and authorization using JWT.

Motivation

The motivation behind this project is to provide a simple and convenient way for users to track their spending and ensure they maximize their credit and debit card rewards. By integrating a Telegram chatbot, we aim to make it even easier for users to record their expenses on the go.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

  • MongoDB
  • Telegram account

Installation

  1. Clone the repository
