Heroku Echo Server

An Heroku Echo Server used in API testing. Uses Sinatra, a lightweight web framework for Ruby.

Deploying the App to Heroku

Creating the application on Heroku:

$ heroku create

Deploying the Code

To push our code to Heroku, we use the git push command:

$ git push heroku master

Checking Out the Log

Heroku facilitates the viewing of log files with the command heroku logs:

$ heroku logs   

For tailing, often useful when watching for API communication

$ heroku logs --tail
