upcfinder is a groovy / java library for get information about any product using 
the UPC (Universal Producto Code) aka Bar Code.

The library can be used as a standar jar from JAVA code 
(adding the upcfinder.jar) to the classpath.

Java Example:
Map information = UPCFinder.find('7501003631046');

Groovy Example:
def information = UPCFinder.find('7501003631046')

As well can be executed from the commmand line as:

java -cp build/libs/upcfinder.jar com.josuemb.upcfinder.xmlrpc.UPCFinder 7501003631046

The information is printed as:

7501003631046=[message:Database entry found, ean:7501003631046, 
issuerCountryCode:mx, 
lastModified:23 Jul 2009, 11:19 AM, issuerCountry:Mexico, 
description:Caribe Cooler durazno 300mL, isCoupon:false, pendingUpdates:0, 
size:, found:true

For Java and groovy the result is a map with the same information.

For building the jar file it is necessary to install gradle build tool:

http://www.gradle.org/installation.html

Then we can build the jar file with the instruction:

gradle assemble
