My backup tool

A python script to create a zip file containing all the files and folders of a selected path (either via CLI or config.ini file), in a user define backup folder

How to install and use

  1. Download or clone code using either 'Download as ZIP' or wirting git clone https://github.com/juanblasmdq/my-backup-tool.git in a Terminal (requires to have Git installed and configured)
  2. Run script
  3. Define destination folder (backup folder) when asked
  4. Define path to zip when asked
  5. See results
