I'm looking through your code and I see you send the $command thru php but I'm having a hard time figuring out where you are writing this.

I am trying to replicate this and I don't see what file you are writing to in order to send the command. I can't trace the FIFO variable.

I have tried echo "p" | /proc/{{pid}}/fd/0 to no avail. Are you writing elsewhere?

Can you give us a hint of what's supposed to be in cfg.php?
A path to scan for video files I'd imagine. And what else?

The videos play fine, but there is no audio until I have paused and unpaused the video. Any ideas?

should I install xampp?
where is the simple front end hosted? in the pi?
could i use it to control several pi's? and send commands from a remote page hosted somewhere else?
