JuliaDynamics

This repository serves the following purposes:

• Contains the source code for the JuliaDynamics website in the src and build folders.
• Hosts the website via GitHub-pages and Jekyll.
• Contains tutorials for all packages of JuliaDynamics in the tutorials folder.
• Contains video resources for all packages of JuliaDynamics in the videos folder.

The website was modeled after the website of QuantumOptics.jl and most code that builds the site was re-used from the repository of QuantumOptics.jl (with permission).

To build locally do follow the instructions from here: https://jekyllrb.com/docs/

(install Jekyll and then do bundle exec jekyll serve which serves by default to http://localhost:4000)

SIMS game ABM simulation

I just watched this fascinating video on how the videogame Sims works: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gf2MT-IOsg

Honestly, it shouldn't be too difficult to make a fully-autonomous Sims replication in Agents.jl. Grid space = house. You could even add pathfinding for walls etc.

Battle Royal visualization is broken

agent color doesn't change, to say the least. Probably we haven't updated the example to v5+.

Videos and line plots not being displayed in Social Distancing example

In Chrome, Firefox, and Safari on macOS 12.2.1 some of the videos and both line plots do not show in this example. Below is a screen shot (Safari) when scrolled to the end of the example. It used to have two plots at the end of the example, and the videos all were displayed, but now these are missing. Three plots/videos of agents as balls in 2D space are being displayed: socialdist1.mp4, socialdist2.mp4, and socialdist3.mp4.

Use `@agent` in all examples

Instead of manually creating a mutable struct!

Video of "Ants" example doesn't load in the examples zoo doc page

I noticed that the video for the "Ants" example doesn't load in the doc. However, the video loads correctly on the main documentation page of agents.jl.

Use `walk!` in bacterial growth example

I presented this issue here: JuliaDynamics/Agents.jl#548

I can add the changes I did before the example moved, though #5 should probably be fixed first

Predator-Prey example not found

Hello,
when trying to access the Predator-prey example in the "Mixed Models" section of the repo's website (https://juliadynamics.github.io/AgentsExampleZoo.jl/dev/), I'm redirected to the following website https://juliadynamics.github.io/AgentsExampleZoo.jl/dev/@ref
and I get a 404 error.
Maybe due to predator_prey.jl file missing from docs/examples?

I guess the fact that docs are not building is not a big problem because already happened with previous commits, even if we should really try to solve this after v6 is released
