If you want to help by providing a translation of content/rules in the language you know, submit a pull request (or DM me on Twitter @ka11away), adding a sub-folder in the 'intl' folder with the files of the translation there.

If you've decided to join:

  1. Check out the Official Site for the #100DaysOfCode movement. Connect with others on the platform of your choice from this list: www.100DaysOfCode.com/connect Also, here is a invite link to the 100DaysOfCode Slack channel
  2. Read Join the #100DaysOfCode
  3. Fork this repo and commit to the Log or to the Alternative, rapid R1 Log (R1 stands for Round 1) daily. Example.
  4. Code minimum an hour every day for the next 100 days.
  5. Encourage at least two other people in the challenge on Twitter every day! Pay it forward!
  6. Change the date in Rules to the day you've started the challenge.
  7. Delete the examples in the log, or comment them out, and start filling it with your own content.
  8. Tweet your progress every day using the #100DaysOfCode hashtag.
  9. Follow Alex, creator of #100DaysOfCode & 100DaysOfCode Twitter Bot that retweets the tweets that contain the #100DaysOfCode hashtag. It's a great way to keep yourself motivated and to participate in the community. Thanks @amanhimself for creating it!
  10. Important: (see No.4 above for a specific rule on this) Encourage others who are doing the same challenge on Twitter or elsewhere - by giving them props when they are posting updates on their progress, supporting them when things get difficult. Thus we will grow a community that is helpful and effective, which will lead to a higher success rate for each person involved. It's also more likely that you will stick to your own commitment, given that you will get acquainted with a couple people (or more) right away.
  11. If you find a great, helpful resource that others would benefit from, either submit a Pull Request to add it to the repo, or just tweet at me (see info below)

100-days-of-code's Issues

minor typo in rules.md

(Log)[log.md] should be [Log](log.md)

This is located on line 13 under Additional Rules -> 4.

Spanish version bugs

Hey there!

The Spanish version has some issues.

1 - diario.md should be renamed to recursos.md (Right now the link inside the README.md for the "Recursos" link throws a 404 and should redirect you to that file)

2- Inside the README.md, the first line says "Me uní el reto #100DaysOfCode", but it should really say "Me uní al reto #100DaysOfCode" (A instead of E)

3 - Inside the README.md, the "Diario - haga clic aquí para ver mi progreso" link should go to registro.md instead of diario.md.

Big fan of the 100 days of code challenge!

log.md Day 0:

Should we start counting from 1? Or should we call this 99 days or 101 days of code?
This is not referring to memory location of C -array.

"### Day 0:"

wakatime for keeping track our code

Hi @kallaway!

I'm so glad to your project and I have an idea that can be useful. There's a program called Wakatime which tracks time, metrics and insights. We can add it to README for people who may want to use like me and people can share their results. What do you think?

Add support on professional platforms like LinkedIn

I'm planing to commit this challenge on linkedIn since it will help more on a professional baackground,
so for the people who are commiting this challenge on LinkedIn will be helpful if there is great supporting community like twitter,
also recruiters can track the progress or measure On linkedIn

The link on line 15 in intl/ja/README.md does not point to the intended URL.

In the item 0 of the section "If you've decided to join(参加方法)” in Japanese translation,
one of the links points to the whole
"www.100DaysOfCode.com/connect)から、好きなプラットフォームを選んで他の参加者と繋がりましょう。"
instead of
"www.100DaysOfCode.com/connect".
So, the reader cannot land on the intended URL.
