A concise arithmetic expression evaluator with a beautiful command-line interface. Made with Go and without functions that evaluate math expressions like Javascript
eval()
.
It provides two key features that make it useful and easy to use:
- Solve arithmetic expressions
- Has a beautiful and simple command-line interface
Coming soon...
Recently I saw a video about making a calculator without evaluation functions like the Javascript
eval()
. In the video, the youtuber said about two algorithms to solve this problem, those are: shunting yard and reverse polish notation. I thought it was funny, so I decided to give it a shot!
I want to learn about those two algorithms (concept and use cases) and implement them. Also, I want to create a helpful tool to solve arithmetic expressions.
