The icons look very nice. But in Plasma 5 they are not used in the system tray, because of the special theming engine.

In order to use these icons in the system tray and other related contexts (overlays), you need a separated theme with these icons. You could use the standard breeze theme. An example with Antü icons is shown here: https://www.kde-look.org/p/998639

Since we build packages in sandbox, only relative paths should be used for symlinks creation (real sandboxed path will be something like):

I tested your icons in portage package system (Gentoo) with local ebuild, and found, that the gtk icon cache update utility don't like icons with space(s) in the name (can't create icons cache file). Here is some icons I found (I could miss some, so, please, also check it by yourself):

This will improve readability of icons in most GTK themes, and partially resolve issue #4, as symbolic icons will be properly recoloured by the set GTK theme. Regular action icons, etc must remain unchanged -- they will need light/dark variants later.

I love Le Capitaine icon theme, I use it on all my Linux distros, I tend to use Plasma 5 and Xfce but always i have the same problem: system tray.

I tried to configure by myself, but symbolic links already exists. I'm think hicolor icons are ugly.

I don't know how Xfce manage icons, maybe something like #35 could help.

Could you please provide first "official" :-) release in "releases" with fixed download links and files? This will also help for package managers, since they need fixed file with fixed hash for it, instead of "master" git download or git-commit related downloads.

Redshift app has an icon but the taskbar icon isn't there. It uses the default ugly one.

first of all: Your icon theme looks really great! Thanks for that and your efforts!!!

Second: I found some problems (I use xfce on gentoo and use viewizard's ebuild):

1. Radiotray has 4 icons: radiotray, radiotray_on, radiotray_off, radiotray_connecting. At the moment the latter 3 are radiotray's original icons while you changed the first. I would suggest to exchange the latter three by your radiotray icon in different colours, e.g. yellow for connecting, grey for off ...

2. Xfce uses in the panel not the symbolic icons, but the regular ones (Compare the examples at the end ). Now the problem is that some icons of your theme have no regular version and the symbolic version is also used in the regular case (xyz.svg = xyz-symbolic.svg). Therefore the panel looks inconsistent. (E.g. the screenshooter has a regular picture while clipman, battery, volume and nm-applet have not)

To overcome this with hopefully minimal efforts, I have the following suggestions:

A) Battery: One could use the regular versions of the elementary xfce theme as regular versions in your theme. I think they fit very well into the look.

B) Volume: Here one could use your "multimedia-volume-control" icon in different colours for audio-volume-....svg

C) Nm-applet: The icon (if connected) itself is good, but one does not see it well, because it is white. So I would again suggest some colours. E.g. green for connection and red for disconnection. Can be the same problem for the wlan icons, but unfortunately I have no wlan, so I cannot test this.

D) Clipman seems to use the edit-paste icon. One could eventually use the icon which occurs in clipman's configuration dialogue.

When picking things in dialogue boxes, Sometimes certain icons show up as really big. I'm on xfce.

I can't seem to figure out where the ownCloud status icons are found in the hicolor theme, nor the icon names. Images in question seem to be the state-*.png images located in the ownCloud git repo at https://github.com/owncloud/client/tree/master/theme/colored

Testing locally, creating status icons called state-whatever don't seem to actually theme the ownCloud applet. I'm going to keep looking into it, but if anyone has any ideas on how to go about doing this, help is appreciated.

In elementary Loki I have these two big icons in panel.

On Gnome 3.22 Nautilus icon is set on:

Icon=org.gnome.Nautilus

Some people would prefer their file manager icons not to have faces. It is planned to add variants for file manager icons that are drawn in a similar style, but without the "Finder" face. It should be easy for users to choose their preferred style in configure by following a prompt.

The current style icons will likely remain the default, however possible variants may include:

• simplified version of existing icon with the face and some decals removed
• a redesigned file manager icon more similar to the default GNOME theme
• a more Material inspired file icon, similar to Amaze
• a more macOS style icon, that is more similar to Finder than the existing style in v0.3.0

This gives the user more choice in how their system looks and feels, through providing a spectrum of options.

This change was initially requested on Github in #33, and a few times on GNOME-Look.

As shown below figure, the icon shown in nautilus and the icon shown in properties window does not match each other. I don't know how to fix this behavior.
FYI, I am using arch linux with gnome 3.2 + gtk3 3.2 + cinnamon 3.0.

Some applications like terminal for example have stretched icons in their title bars. I've noticed this while using Ubuntu Budgie Remix.

This is not a request for application or file type, but I think it would be nice.

Like many other people, I have a Windows installed inside a VM. When I was using Numix I saw that there's an icon with the MS Windows logo, so I associated that icon to my VM shortcut.

So my suggestion/request is for icons of logos of other OS, like the ones of Linux Distributions already existing.

One problem I've been avoiding is the fact that Evolution, the default mail-client for GNOME-based desktops is incompletely themed in the preferences pane, and elsewhere in the ui. Below are some of the icons that need to be addressed, and suggested symbolic links.

However, I can't seem to locate the name of the icon that shows up when email messages have calendars attached. See below screenshot of the 16x16 icon:

It looks like shaking hands, but I cannot seem to find the filename in the hicolor icon pack. Help would be appreciated in locating the name of this icon.
