The old JavaScript implementation should be removed. Additionally, this tool should be made more go-like in its project structure.

It would be nice to have service-style launching, where a command is presumed to have some sort of signal sent to it to kill, reload, or otherwise. Additionally, for the menu item to indicate that a particular entry is launched as a service would also have to be implemented. This would necessitate recording the PID of started services to an "arbitray-live.json" or similar file, that maps a given entry to a given PID, so that if arbitray is restarted it recalls which services have running PIDs (and if the PID does not exist, simply remove the reference).
