record using the stats component to show performance hit

The menu emits an event for application logic but the menu does not show its own visual response when the trigger is pressed. It would be nice to show a simple indication when the trigger is pressed, perhaps changing the currently selected frame from yellow to green for just a moment, similar to the hover behavior of the arrows.

• when used with an app that loads menu options dynamically, the component should have an option to wait until some sort of call before drawing the menu

Right now the select bar component expects 7 or more options, this is cumbersome.

Suggestion: 6 or fewer objects does not scroll. A ghetto approach could be to manually create a layout for each options 6 to 1 separate from the 7 or greater logic that currently exists.

Right now it requires adding the arrow obj file as an asset in a page that uses this component, like:

This is silly.
