Expected behavior: Long-press of Return/Enter key results in pop-up of emojis, just like the good old days.

Current Behavior

Long-press of Return/Enter key results in pop-up of stuff I'm not interested in :(

Suggestion:

Please create a Settings option so people can choose whether they want Return/Enter to pop-up emojis or the new stuff. If it's not possible to make a Settings option, then I vote for emojis

The 1.0.3 update which should have the shortcut text option as the centre correction choice isn't working. This is whether I turn off "suggest shortcut words" or not. Can you have a look at it?

I used to own your keyboard till you ripped it off the market. This was my go-to keyboard. Will those of us who paid for this app be confiscated for your new kii keyboard app?

Expected Behavior

When using native emoji option in settings, clicking on emoji icon in the keyboard should open emoji.

Current Behavior

Clicking emoji icon shows blank screen... No emoji at all.

Project has been stagnant for several years with no updates.

I'm wanting to be able to have this be maintained with fixes to the current issues along with availability from the Play Store. I'm aware that the APK file can be downloaded, but this is a temporary solution for when Google eventually chooses to completely deprecate some feature that this package relies on.

Hello any plans to include iOS emoji? IMO one of the best emojis around 😀

AOSP Hebrew layout is weird. i assume this keyboard is based on it, therefore it has that weird layout.
most keyboard out there use a different Hebrew layout. i attached a picture showing it.
if you can add this layout it would be awesome. for now im still using the original Kii.

Is this keyboard still being worked on? The last update was a year ago. I've been using kii exclusively for about 5 years now and was so excited to see kii2 on the play store early this year. I hope it gets picked back up. (:

Most accurate keyboard app I've ever used, but freezes my program to where they won't open. I have to do all sorts of things, including restart to v at them back.

Quick change does not appear to work in landscape. Says premium is required, but as far as I can tell, there is no option to purchase premium.

If there will be premium in the future, I would still like to see the feature usable until a premium option is implemented so it can be tested.

Brackets in Persian(it's right to left) are reversed. for example )سلام( or »سلام«.
Kii keyboard 1 doesn't have this problem.

When entering passwords, the number row is displayed twice. The 2nd number row is probably the original AOSP one which should be suppressed if the Kii keyboard number row is turned on.

Using version 1.02 and I'm on Nexus 6p with Android 6.01

When I type down a custom word and don't add it to dictionary immediately, I cannot do it later. I can only choose from alternative words. Similarly, I cannot blacklist typed word, only one of it's randomly selected alternatives. Don't really understand why... It becomes a problem when You begin to correct previously unnoticed errors or autocorrects. (I type a lot in czech language, which have a lots of word variants, and built-in Kii czech dictionary is very basic, so I would use these functions very often. Now it's pain and suffering. 😢)

I'd much appreciate to have the "add to dictionary" or "add to blacklist" function available anytime I tap the word (depending whether its a custom word, or the one from dictionary).

I love Kii keyboard, IMO it's the most beautiful and customizable keyboard available. I appreciate Your hard work to improve user experience, You have my respect.

Please let us be able to make the number row taller (on LG keyboard its taller and easier to tap the number row). Also please let us set the margin size between each key and enable/disable the top row that has the quick menu

The gesture typing doesn't work on my phone, even though it works with KiiKeyboard 1.
Current gesture typing options states are :

• Enable Gesture Typing : ON
• Dynamic floating preview : OFF
• Show all predictions : OFF
• Show gesture trail : ON
• Gesture trail thickness : Portait - 100% / Landscape : 100%
• Phrase gesture : ON

It tried it on two differents devices but is hasn't worked on any.
ASUS Zenfone 2 Z551ML with Android 5.0 (Rooted).
Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini GT-I9195 with Android 4.4.2 (Rooted).

Expected Behavior

When entering a value in a password field then I expect that it omits all auto correction features

Current Behavior

Entering alphabetic characters, followed by a space then the space disappears as soon as you type a numeric value. Example password: "Test 123" becomes "Test123".
This doesn't happen when trying the same with the Google keyboard.

Issues:

1. Missing automatic spacing after inserting (pressing) a comma. Option in settings is missing too.
2. Selecting a QUERTZ type it resets back to default QUERTY in some time for sny type of language (had English US and Slovenian). Don't know ehen, but I noticed in a few days.

That out of the way, I'd like a AMOLED black keyboard theme as one of the built-in options. For inspiration, refer to Google's below:

Using Kii 2 v. 1.0.4-alpha; Android 7.0
I'm using a custom keyboard theme (GO keyboard Woodgrain Theme). It has light colored keys, so I changed the key font color and alternate key color to dark colors.

Expected behavior: the font on all keys and alternate keys would change to selected colors. Characters in the suggestion strip would appear in the primary key font color.

Current Behavior

The font colors on most keys changed but several did not. Also the color of some characters on suggestion strip didn't change. The ones that didn't change from the default keyboard colors are very hard to see on light colored keys. (see pics)

1. Install a custom keyboard theme with very light colored keys. I use GO keyboard Woodgrain Theme, but I don't think it's available anymore.
2. Change primary font color and alternate key font color to colors that show up well on the light keys.
3. Push several of the less-used keys to look at different views and options (see pictures)
4. Some keys' fonts don't change color, ie characters on key stayed white. A few changed to the color set for alternate keys instead of the primary font color. The problem also occurs in the suggestion strip (see pics). I think the keys that did not change are usually keys labeled with emoji symbols.

Context

Except for alternate key fonts, all key fonts should have the primary font color set by the user. All suggestion strip characters should appear in the primary font color. These changes are important for use of some custom keyboards.

When I press the symbols button & then the “more symbols” or “alternate symbols” button I expect it to go to the actual page. (It does go to the actual page on my phone running marshmallow (6.0)...

No asterisk. Works with all other keys and their secondary functions.

Context

I hate having to swap to the symbols/numbers board just for an asterisk (which I use very often)... :)

Adjustable left and right margins, useful for Samsung Edge edges, should stay as set.

The default keeps getting reset. Sometimes it seems to be in response to touching the margins, sometimes it just happens.

Not entirely sure if this is a bug, the original kii keyboard would keep the space there after pressing delete to remove the auto corrected word back to what it was. Kii 2 however does not, you have to enter the space again after pressing backspace.
