Howdy, Stranger!

Ask a Parent was born out of the desire to create fellowship, helpful, and downright entertaining community solutions. Ask a Parent is intended to be used as a discussion forum and long form chat room. I couldn't be happier you've decided to use Ask a Parent to grow your community.

Getting Started

For development and testing, please follow the following instructions.

Prerequisites

Clone and run the following command inside this project's directory to load dependencies

$ bundle

Development

Run the following command to load database schema

$ bundle exec rails db:setup

Start up local server

$ bundle exec rails server

For interactive console

$ bundle exec rails console
