kippt-chrome's Issues

Note cache

There are cases when notes isn't cleared when moving between urls.

Dribbble injection

As Kippt is going to get little bit more visual I think it's time to add also a save option to Dribbble

title all clips are encoded

When I use chrome extension my link title is encoded, for non technical user may find it as bug and it creates readability issue.

Broken URL in "Your Kippt profile" link icon

Link from extension's icon "Your Kippt profile" points to missing URL that tells user that "404 Page not found".

Apparently upgrade to new Kippt service broke some of the little details like this one.

Problem is visible on the file: https://github.com/kippt/kippt-chrome/blob/master/extension.html#L20

Few possible fixes for the problem:

  • Check if user is logged in and point to right URL with username
  • Create redirect on the server that points to right URL (after checking login status)

"Modify existing clip" is misleading

"Modify existing clip" can mislead the user into thinking that they are currently modifying a clip. More effort needs to be put into indicated that it is a link/button. I have accidentally been creating duplicates when I thought I was modifying existing clips.

search kippt when searching google

This is a cool feature in the evernote extension. A standard omnibox search simultaneously searches an evernote account with results displayed inline.

Is anyone working on this or something similar? If not I'll try to implement and send a pull request.
