dropper's Issues

Misplacement of the table view after view orientation change

Hi

I'm noticing something strange. When the orientation is landscape and you tab to open the dropper. After the dropper is opened, if you decide to change the orientation back to portrait, you can see the table view misplaced. I'm not sure what is causing this but wanted to mention it.

Please find the attached screenshots

[feature request] Have optional preselected item with bullet?

First, thank you so much for this project, it was desperately needed in my project - most of the other controls didn't fit my needs.

One feature I would love to see is an optional preselected item with a check mark or bullet so when the table view appears, there is an indication of what is currently selected. It could either be an Int index or the contents to match the delegate.

Horizontal Alignment of a Dropdown

Ability to set the horizontal alignment of the dropdown. For example set weather the dropdown is displayed under or on top of the button.

Dropper maintains previously set height

If there are two buttons in a view and you select the first button with an array of items and then select the second button with a different array of items the dropdown will maintain the height of the first button.

Dynamic height size

Is there any possible way to dynamically set height based on items' number ?

dropper = Dropper(width: 52, height: dymanicHeight)

Dropper 3.0

I wrote Dropper ~9 months ago and looking back at the codebase now I would do several things differently. With the current Dropper, there are a couple bugs that involve positioning of the Dropper menu and it also not being added to the view. These issues are happening because of the way that Dropper is built.

I hope to resolve all these issues in Dropper 3.0 with a complete rewrite. Wish list for this update:

  • Support for the previous versions of Dropper.
  • Ability to have shown what's the currently selected item in a Dropper menu (#4).
  • Fix Dropper misplacements. ex: (#6)
  • More stable way of adding the Dropper to its super view.
  • Simpler customizer options in order to simplify the amount of boilerplate code needed to achieve a certain look.

If you have any questions, concerns or suggestions regarding this update please comment on this issue or send me a message on twitter (@kirkbyo_)

DropperSelectedRow never called

i followed the instructions to the word and it didn't work
then i tried some other variations and it didn't work as well
no need for code because i'm doing what you wrote

the framework looks great! i really hope to use it

thanks :)

"pod try Dropper" is not working

I wanted to try it out, but I couldn't use the 'pod try' method. I got this error:

[!] Invalid `Podfile` file: [!] Unsupported options `{:exclusive=>true}` for target `Dropper_Example`..

 #  from /private/var/folders/s2/z2qw2c912dn6yxf1swvcmlk80000gn/T/CocoaPods/Try/Dropper/Example/Podfile:4
 #  -------------------------------------------
 #
 >  target 'Dropper_Example', :exclusive => true do
 #    pod "Dropper", :path => "../"

UIImageView instead of button

I have a UIImageView that receives a gesture on touch, I would like to show the drop down menu using the UIImageView but Dropper only accepts to pass button as parameter.

Any clue
