Flash messages for certain operations

Provide user feedback that something actually happened when you press a key. Ideally should work like Toast in Android

Monitoring of requests

Add ability to monitor the number of requests currently active. If you perform a number of actions rapidly, these will queue and when there are too many, errors can occur. It would be good to be able to see how many open requests there are in the UI. Additionally, knowing when requests complete could allow overriding the default preview playback behavior so the timeline doesn't keep resetting. It looks like this would require a persistent background page, though, which may not be worth it.

Music Track Placement

Feature request from the Chrome Store page:

this is a great exstention and it makes video creation a lot smoother. The only this missing is the music track placement. You can't choose where the track goes. Once you pick a song it goes straight to the beginning then you can't move it. This is extremely annoying and limits soundtracks. This would be a great feature to add. Just a suggestion and thanks.

Not sure if this is a limitation of the extension or of the video editor, so will need to investigate and see if there is anything that can be done to modify this behavior.

Unable to watch video with music until the final video is created

I love the YouTube Video Editor. It is very easy to use and helps me produce good videos. Just a little suggestion. When I choose music for my videos I have less options in the video editor and I cannot watch the video with the music until the final video is created. Can anything be done about that?

Add a what's new popup

Need to set a cookie or something so we only popup the first time the tool loads after an update

Improve nudge performance

Currently the increase/decrease clip length by 1 second works by simulating 15 clicks, each of which triggers a server request. This makes the process slower than necessary. Would be nice to figure out a way to do this in a single request. Alternatively, simulating a click/drag on the adjustment bar might work.
