i can't seem to get any data from en_US locale (ie. casual.en_US.month_name gives me "settembre")

hrm, looks like an issue related to moment's locale settings. Are you only seeing locale problems with date related properties?

It is possible, I'm not too familiar with 'Casual' to know and I'm assuming they're using Lorem Ipsum for the sentences/phrases, so I can't tell from those. However, you may be onto something, since colors, company name, names, and name prefix/suffix seem to be in the correct locale.
