wanted to preview the XAML files in Visual Studio 2022. I fixed the reference links. But I always get an error, that assemblies are missing. Can you see what is missing

As a Vault user, I'd expect a substitute component as a secondary item link of the parent assembly's item. To auto-assign the substitute, the Part Number value should derive from the assembly's active model state part number instead of the substitute's file name (without extension).
The VDS save dialog as part of the Create Substitute workflow should pre-fill this value automatically.

The FDU embedded workflow "New Layout" drives the number (name) and path for the new IAM file. As a user, I'd expect VDS to re-use both.

Several Inventor workflows require user input for filename/path without options to change these by VDS on save; e.g., simplification features write the path/file name into the feature definition and do not allow to replace the file path/reference path by PDM systems.
The VDS dialog should disable filename/path options for these workflows and re-use the feature's value instead.
