What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install Ubuntu basic server using reiser instead of default ext4
2. Install iRedMail 0.6.1
3. Follow installation per online docs @
http://code.google.com/p/iredmail/wiki/Installation_on_Ubuntu
I chose mysql backend
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Installation script fails during installation/configuration of postfix-policyd
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
iRedMail 0.6.1 (Aug 14, 2010)
Ubuntu 10.04 server. Base install + SSH + updates to current
Please provide any additional information below.
After several attempts I installed the product in a VM using the minimum VM
installation and it seemed to work OK. I noticed that the default file system
was using ext4 whereas the system I had been using was formatted as reiser. I
wiped the existing system and allowed it to use ext4 and things seem to work
OK, at least thus far.
I did however notice there are several discrepancies between screens shown in
the docs and the actually screens. In particular the Squirrelmail option
doesn't show up, at least with mysql. I had intended to install both SQ and RC
for webmail since SQ can run without Java.
Now to finish testing to see that everything works as expected. :)
Thanks guys.

FreeBSD jails don't have any interface associated to 127.0.0.1 [ref:
http://tomster.org/blog/djbdns-using-freebsd-jails ].
Installation works perfectly. However, some connections won't occur with
the default configuration.
If, for example, the jail ip is 192.168.10.5, it looks like the following
workaround help things to work correctly :
* Authorize the default jail for mysql created users,
* Add a
@inet_acl = qw( 127.0.0.1 [::1] 192.168.10.5 );
to amavis.conf, and
-o mynetworks=192.168.10.5/32
to the 127.0.0.1:10025 section of postfix/master.cf .

I have installed iRedMail in a very small setup i.e. about 15 users. Their
Domain is hosted with Rediffmail.com and they have a Internet Broad Band
connection with a static IP but obviously not to say their IP is black
listed hence many of their Emails do not reach the Client and most of the
time this becomes a business loss.
How do you relay emails in iRedMail please let me know ??? what are the
exact statements that should be added into which file ??? or can you give a
GUI interface in POSTFIXADMIN for doing so please let me know.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. when adding new users with create_mail_user_MySQL.sh
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expected the path would be /mail/vmail01 but instead got /var/vmail/
vmail01/ which I don't use.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using Stable version (0.5.1) with Debian Lenny.
Please provide any additional information below.
The problem is when you use a custom path for vmail. The default is /var/
vmail/ and that is why the create_mail_user_MySQL.sh creates new users
with wrong path.

an issue. The user at some point changed the language interface of
RoundCube and after a while it showed him only some of the older mails but
