Setup

Installation

To use a stable release.

vim-plug

Plug 'nvim-lua/plenary.nvim'
Plug 'saecki/crates.nvim', { 'tag': 'v0.3.0' }

lua require('crates').setup()

packer.nvim

use {
    'saecki/crates.nvim',
    tag = 'v0.3.0',
    requires = { 'nvim-lua/plenary.nvim' },
    config = function()
        require('crates').setup()
    end,
}
If you're feeling adventurous and want to use the newest features.

vim-plug

Plug 'nvim-lua/plenary.nvim'
Plug 'saecki/crates.nvim'

lua require('crates').setup()

packer.nvim

use {
    'saecki/crates.nvim',
    requires = { 'nvim-lua/plenary.nvim' },
    config = function()
        require('crates').setup()
    end,
}
For lazy loading.
use {
    'saecki/crates.nvim',
    event = { "BufRead Cargo.toml" },
    requires = { { 'nvim-lua/plenary.nvim' } },
    config = function()
        require('crates').setup()
    end,
}

Auto completion

nvim-cmp source

Just add it to your list of sources.

require('cmp').setup {
    ...
    sources = {
        { name = "path" },
        { name = "buffer" },
        { name = "nvim_lsp" },
        ...
        { name = "crates" },
    },
}
Or add it lazily.
vim.api.nvim_create_autocmd("BufRead", {
    group = vim.api.nvim_create_augroup("CmpSourceCargo", { clear = true }),
    pattern = "Cargo.toml",
    callback = function()
        cmp.setup.buffer({ sources = { { name = "crates" } } })
    end,
})

coq.nvim source

Enable it in the setup, and optionally change the display name.

require('crates').setup {
    ...
    src = {
        ...
        coq = {
            enabled = true,
            name = "crates.nvim",
        },
    },
}

Code actions

Enable it in the setup, and optionally change the display name.

local null_ls = require('null-ls')
require('crates').setup {
    ...
    null_ls = {
        enabled = true,
        name = "crates.nvim",
    },
}
