braintumor's Introduction

Feel free to use the storage above.

At this google drive directory, there are not only our model weight but also tempurature normal brain slices for a single subject.

We stronly recomment to explore our jupyter notebook file (./inference_example.ipynb)! Step-by-step procedures are well-expressed.

If you want to use it for data augmentation, I recommend you to modify the jupyter notebook file.

Below are interesting slices for each step. Have fun!

Generation of Binary Tumor Mask

The binary tumor masks are generated by following figure.

image

There are 4 different cases of video for generation of the binary tumor masks.

binary_v2

The 1st column and the 2nd column are the input and output images.

Generation of Grade Tumor Mask

The grade tumor masks are generated by following figure.

There are 4 different cases of video for generation of the grade tumor masks.

grade_v2

The 1st column and the 2nd column are the input and output images.

Synthesis of Brain Tumor MR Images

The brain tumor images are synthesized by following figure.

The results of synthesis is following:

The 1st column represents various concentric circles, and the images of 2nd column are the grade tumor mask generated by the concentric circles of 1st column. The images of the 3rd to 6th column are brain tumor MR images which are taken by imaging squence of FLAIR, T1w, T1c, T2w

braintumor's Issues

How do you preprocess data?

I want to know how you preprocess data, such as how to set the window level and width of brats data. Could you share with me the data you have processed? Or can you provide a reference data processing script? Thank you.

Instances used for training

In the Brats 2018 dataset there are:

  • 210 instances under HGG folder
  • 75 instances under LGG folder

In the paper it states that among these 285 instances 28 were used for validation loss and 190 were used for training purposes, is there any information on which of the instances were used among the whole dataset?

where is the tumor masks come from?

As 2.A. depicted, The concentric circles are generated from the tumor masks...
I want to ask the input image is MR Images of Normal Brain, so where is the tumor masks come from? from other abnormal image?
