Edu-Care brings outside talent and expertise to the classroom.

Edu-Care pairs individuals looking to volunteer their skills and expertise to schools that are looking for a helping hand.

The application is designed as a desktop web app first, but is completely mobile friendly.

The Business

Volunteers looking to give back to educational communities can sign up with the app to post their services for schools to see. Think of it as Craigslist, but for individuals looking to specifically volunteer for education purposes at local schools. Volunteers can choose from 6 volunteer categories, and then list their specific specialty.

These volunteer opportunities include:

• Panelist
• Presentation Reviewers/Competition Judges
• Career Guidance
• Job Shadowing
• General Volunteering

This volunteer entry will post a listing to a filterable board for search by school administrators and teachers. Volunteers can create as many listings as they would like, and can review and update this information in their user dashboard.
