This requires the user to reauthorize every hour.

Need to switch over to using the companion app method of Authorization, without creating a companion app

Can it be configured to listen for input without requiring pressing the option button?

2. Click on tray icon
3. Click inside window
4. Press option

It doesn't start recording the voice command.

I install binary and launch Maclexa.
When I click the icon, it show amazon login page.
After login, there is no fields of application ID and client ID I can input.

Do I miss something?

It's just my assumption that problem is with mp3. I tried to play "The Wayne Investigation" game (you can install it as Alexa Skill), and it crashes at the beginning (and it also doesn't play the intro story). Tested with https://echosim.io/ (I don't have echo device yet) - works fine.

It would be so awesome if you could bring up a text input similar to spotlight and use this input instead of voice. I find myself frequently wanting to use a smart assistant but am in a public area or at work where it would be weird to talk to my computer.

Currently it gives me the weather for Seattle.

Just a few design tips and one typo:

1. Missing a “z” in http://alexa.amaon.com
2. Change the color of the text “This app was created...” to white as well, it’s hard to read right now
3. Align all the text boxes on the left-hand side

Echo dot works fine, on the same network.

Discover devices, cannot find any.

How do i get calendar and smart devices to work.

It currently says i don't see a calendar set up and even though lots of devices et up on echo dot, none are found ?

Show some kind of indication that Alexa is currently processing the request. Perhaps have a yellow/orange led on the menu bar, much like the red led that appears when Alexa is listening?

seriously, i'm a little behind on my OSX updates - so is this strictly compiled for .11?

Currently the user can only hit the option key to start talking to Alexa. This should be customizable from the popover menu.
