Discussion Board Web App

Discussion Board web app is a Meteor(Node.js) React and MongoDB atlas project for dealing with your contacts.

The application handles login with your username/email and password. You can start a discussion or comment on existing feeds.

The application's demo is hosted here.

Installation

Use the package manager meteor & npm to install the packages for the project.

Go to the directory where you would like to clone the repo.

$ git clone https://github.com/KunjManiar/meteor-discussion-board.git
$ cd meteor-discussion-board
$ meteor add

Before running the project you need to follow the below steps to get google contacts:

• Install meteor on your system.
• Update package.json with your MongoDB Atlas URL

To run it on the development server run the following command

$ npm run local

Things to Do

• Write Test Cases
• Connect update & delete functions to frontend (Already present for feeds)
• Add features like adding comments to comments
