Initial Setup and Git Instructions

Setting up jupypter lab

pip install jupyterlab

launching jupyter-lab

jupyter-lab

• Fork the repository
• Open the terminal in jupyter-lab
• Navigate to a folder where you want to store your project

After forking the repository, follow the steps to setup it in your local device:

git clone https://github.com/<username>/prometeo-23-app.git

Setup remotes:

git remote set-url upstream https://github.com/kunal-gg/DesignCreditProject.git
git remote add origin https://github.com/<username>/DesignCreditProject.git

Now you are in main branch of the PR, to work on the task assigned, create new PR by using the below mentioned instruction:

git checkout -b <branch-name>

To navigate to any existing branch (ex: navigationbar)

git checkout navigationbar

To push changes to PR / To submit new PR:

NOTE: Always open a new PR from main, else commits will follow remote.

git push origin <branch name>

• Sync the changes before pulling them

To pull changes to PR:

git pull origin <branch name>
