eevee's Issues

Comment not shown

So, I have configured DISQUS_SITENAME as required, and confirmed it correct in other themes.

But in eevee, no comment section is generated. Digging further into the template, in the partials/comments.html file, there is a like as follows:

    {% if obj is defined and obj.comments|title != 'False' %}

What's this obj thing? It doesn't seem to appear in the pelican document. Is it an old variable which should be replaced with new variables, or is it defined elsewhere?

Hi,

I am just wondering if you still use this template, if you do could you share your pelican version?
There are some bugs in the template with pelican version 3.6.3 (current). Are you interested if I contribute back?

Firefox complaining "encoding declaration of document was found too late"

This issue will possibly cause CJK characters rendered unreadable.

Firefox is complaining The character encoding declaration of document was found too late for it to take effect. The encoding declaration needs to be moved to be within the first 1024 bytes of the file. in the console, while license block is 1145 chars long.

The solution is perhaps move the license block elsewhere (eg. after head block).

GOOGLE CHROMEはUSAからhttpでhttps://kura.gg/eevee/のURLを”click"する時にHSTS alert

When using the eevee theme available from getpelican/official source to push to a personal github pages project using http but not https (example: jculpon.github.io), GOOGLE CHROME latest throws a strict transport security warning realted to the common name of kura.gg being invalid.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE

1. Visit a personal (not project) github pages page hosted via HTTP not HTTPS. Example link: (jculpon.github.io)[http://jculpon.github.io]
2. Observe that the link to the eevee theme directs to https://kura.io/eevee/ (which should be correct in RELATIVE or NOT RELATIVE URL mode in pelican/pelican theme development)
3. Observe HSTS error in GOOGLE CHROME (tested version: Version 103.0.5060.114 (Official Build) (x86_64) macOS 11.6.7 (20G630))
4. Note big scary warning screen which chrome (not chromium) will not let you skip by. (see attached image)

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

1. Clicking on https://kura.io/eevee/ should not result in strict transport security warnings.

Link to official documentation should be updated

https://kura.io/eevee/ does no longer link to a documentation, subsequently making it hard to configure the theme

Search is not working

Not sure about the cause, but search is not working after following the (very simple) instruction on https://kura.github.io/eevee/#plugin-search-functionality

Potentially because of tipue_search version?
