To use this in a mixed JSON/RDF environment it would be helpful to have a canonical JSON schema and a JSON-LD context.

For schema.org - which is a massive and changing beast with a range of rather ugly legacy issues (cities have properties for being a driveThroughFacility, but no population size attribute for example) - define the profile of schema.org in use and provide a lean context for that profile.

The context is relative to schema elements - hence the need to define a canonical JSON schema for these elements.
