support for serialization

It is not an issue, but a feature request. Can we have support for serialization?

mkSnapshotMatrix not sorted alphanumerically

Hi,
The output of os.listdir might not be sorted alphanumerically.

Might need to add sorted().

files = [f for f in sorted(os.listdir(dirpath)) if os.path.isfile(os.path.join(dirpath, f))]
