This will include setting up a make file to handle the automatic compilation of a linux and windows client version using the same base code. The difference between the two will be with the actual implementation of the functions used to create and write to the sockets.

• Split out the linux/windows socket commands out into separate C files
• Modify the makefile to accommodate the split out C files
