LL Team Fortress 2 Freeplay Server in Docker

Laclede's LAN Team Fortress 2 Dedicated Freeplay Server

This repository is maintained by Laclede's LAN. Its contents are heavily tailored and tweaked for use at our charity LAN-Parties. For third-parties we recommend using this repo only as a reference example and then building your own using gamesvr-tf2 as the base image for your customized server.

Run Self Tests

The image includes a test script that can be used to verify its contents. No changes or pull-requests will be accepted to this repository if any tests fail.

docker run -it --rm lacledeslan/gamesvr-tf2-freeplay ./ll-tests/gamesvr-tf2-freeplay.sh;

Run simple interactive server

docker run -it --rm --net=host lacledeslan/gamesvr-tf2-freeplay ./srcds_run -game tf +randommap +sv_lan 1

Fall 2017 Event - Preliminary Quality Review

• Update MM / SM to latest
• Make sure linux files are in dist.linux and that generic files are in dist
• Verify advertisements works
• Verify sm_admin works
• Verify MOTD works
• Verify your custom plugin is installed and working (dumps info to console on startup)
• Verify LL config is loading
• Verify map voting is working
• Verify fast downloads work

When testing use image name of lacledeslan/gamesvr-tf2-freeplay (-srcds and :linux are no longer necessary).

need help opening

im trying to do this on a school chromebook that doesnt allow linux. If you could give me some help such as a way to open it without linux or maybe a way to start it on a website that would be very helpful.

Map voting not working

Item server connection

8/12 the server could not get to the valve item server not sure if this was a network issue or image issue.

Ran on as a docker image on ll-harvey while using dmz on my home router
