nastran-95's Issues

Compilation problem on Windows

Hi,
I'm compiling on Windows and I can generate a nastran.exe. However when I launch a computation with a valid input file (or even just executing the exe without any input file) the error says:
Could not print backtrace: libbacktrace could not find executable to open.

So it seems that it cannot find the entry point (the PROGRAM), but the weird thing is that it compiled..
I use MingW64, through either Codeblocks, or Msys64 (I can compile nastran in both environment). I generate the library first with the files from the [mis] directory, then the exe from the files in the [mds] and linking the library, I do remove the file chkfil.f (since its got its own PROGRAM entry point). Am I missing something?

Compilation problem on Raspberry Pi2

Hi, thank you very much for making these updates available. I've tried this on x86 Ubuntu Linux and it works well. I've also tried on Raspberry Pi 2 with gfortran and using the bootstrap script and '-static' as a linker option but it gives a segmentation fault. Configure seems to be picking up the correct options. I'd welcome any advice to get it running. Thanks in advance.

NASTRAN Discord channel

Hello everyone,

Recently we created a Discord channel for NASTRAN to get the community together and revive some of the underappreciated projects out there. So far we have the developers of pyNASTRAN, MYSTRAN, and some FreeCAD folks over there:

https://discord.com/invite/NeZEBZn

you are welcomed to join and invite the rest fo the community.

Best,
Foad

OP2

Sorry for opening another ticket again. But I thought that you can output op2 by issuing
OUTPUT2 "DATABLOCK",,,,//C,N,0/C,N,11////C,N,MSC $

It is given in the README. I tried it and was not able to generate any op2. I also found the op2 file in ./mis/outpt2.f

What do I miss?
