Protractor With Cucumber JS Pre-Requisites

• Install Java Development Kit.
• Install Node.js (latest version).

Installation and Setup

• Github: git clone https://github.com/legzy27/ITGTestFramework
• Once you download the repository cd into the directory
• Install necessary dependencies with npm install command before the tests can run locally

Install dev dependencies

• npm install -g protractor
• npm install — save-dev cucumber
• npm install — save-dev protractor-cucumber-framework
• npm install chai
• npm install chai-smoothie

Run test: 

• webdriver-manager update
• webdriver-manager start
• Type npm run protractorcuke press enter

Report

• Check json-output-folder for json report
