This repo is the stripped-down embodiment layer for MinePal. It runs inside a separate Minecraft client and exposes a small localhost JSON-RPC surface for movement, combat focus, survival watchdogs, inventory delivery primitives, chat, and snapshots.
The cognition layer lives in minepal-v0. This repo should stay boring: loader-side Java, Baritone movement, safety/combat watchdogs, and headless launch/profile tooling.
RPC methods:
agent.snapshotchat.saytask.starttask.querytask.cancelmob_defense.focusmob_defense.clear_focusrpc.info
Task names intentionally kept in the salvage build:
go_to_playerfollow_playergo_to_positionmove_awayattack_entityset_combat_focusclear_combat_focuseat_best_foodequip_itemactivate_itempickup_itemdrop_itemgive_item_to_playerstop
Everything else from the earlier v1 broad AltoClef port is intentionally removed or deferred. The model should sequence simple orthogonal primitives from v0 instead of depending on combo tasks.
The MVP flow uses HeadlessMc with manual Microsoft device-code login. Create a separate bot profile copy from the user's selected launcher, Prism, Modrinth, or CurseForge instance; never mutate the play profile in place.
HeadlessMc launch notes:
- login once with
login - launch a client with
launch <loader>:<mc-version> -lwjgl - install hmc-specifics for the launched version/profile when available
- inject this mod jar, a compatible Baritone jar, and hmc-specifics into the copied bot profile
The target product range is Fabric, Forge, and NeoForge on Minecraft 1.21.4 through 1.21.11. HeadlessMc's public hmc-specifics docs currently show broad 1.21 loader support through 1.21.5, so every newer point release must be validated with real artifacts during smoke testing.
./gradlew :embodiment:buildThe Fabric entrypoint package still uses the historical net.minepal.v1 Java package to avoid a noisy mechanical rename. The public repo and artifact name are now minepal-baritone-actuators.
