81-libretro's Issues

Using .col file for Chroma81

Hi

Some games are already code for Chroma 81 and works fine.
But many other are not and we can only found a .col file to put with the .p game.
The problem is that the emulator not using them to color the game :(

Will you add this feature please ?
Thanks

Missing flicker-free displays crash some games...

Hi

I discover this problem with some games that crashing when i want to launch them.

I write to the author of Mazogs and he explain me Retroarch does not emulate the technique used to generate flicker-free displays from the ZX80. It might simply patch the ZX80โ€™s ROM to intercept the display driver routines, but flicker-free games use their own driver in RAM instead.

I search a little and found the original emulator has been update many times from 4 years, and now it's version is 1.15 release the 21/04/2019 ... i'm sure they've add the flicker-free.

https://sourceforge.net/projects/eightyone-sinclair-emulator/

Is it possible to have a merge update of this core with the original emulator ?
Thanks a lot

Make JSON controller config file editable

Why cant the JSON file be inside the Retroarch's System folder and the user to add/edit it to his/her liking? Being hardcoded has to led to only a handfull of games to be playable.

Virtual keyboard selection polling too fast

Using the emulator on Raspberry PI Retropie, whenever the virtual keyboard is needed it is near unusable, since the selected key passes by all the keys very fast.
It's very difficult to select the correct key this way.
