Are there plans to get lightcord into nix-pkgs?

Makepkg return error when the lightcord-git cuz it can’t install nvm

Probably remove the makepkg command from readme

Link in the wiki is now 404'ing: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/lightcord-bin/

I just installed lightcord with this script, when I start it it says "update available" and gives me the option to update (bringing me to lightcord release page) and to start anyway.
I re executed the script and picked "update lightcord" instead of "install lightcord" this time, but it still says there are update available.

Am I missing something?
OS is Linux mint 20.2

I am trying to install lightcord on my linux distro and it is failing its validation with md5 sums. Specifically lightcord.desktop, I'm not sure what the problem here is but it isn't letting me install it.

running:
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/lightcord-bin.git && cd lightcord-bin && makepkg -si
or:
yay -S lightcord
(and selecting lightcord-bin repo)
returns:

curl: (22) The requested URL returned error: 522
==> ERROR: Failure while downloading https://lightcord.org/api/v1/gh/releases/Lightcord/Lightcord/v0.1.9/lightcord-linux-x64.zip
    Aborting...

but running:
git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/lightcord-git.git && cd lightcord-git && makepkg -si

just works out of the box after fixing npm and nvm dependencies manually because apparently that doesn't want to work either
