passport?

Why do we need references to passport in this module?

Any documentation on this?

Some documentation would be great. Can I use this with other loggers? Can I log to file?

[FEATURE] Use logger in mean controller, model .pre('save') etc.

This logger works really well as a restful endpoint. It would be a great addition if the user could log from within the app itself. For example, adding a logger.log('User updated object %s', objectId); to a controller.

Any thoughts? Is it possible to expose the logger in this way? Would we need to import its instance into each controller, as we do with app? Or, could we add the function to req. making it available everywhere?
