Which js-sdk version are you using? The --async command you saw in the readme.md is no longer in use, my apologies for any confusion caused. Also, have you tried using different node version? v18.0.0 and above

I was using the latest js-sdk, version 2.2.11 I think.
I switched to node version v18.0.0 (I was using v16 before), and yarn build worked, and yarn test:unit got much better results, only one failure due to timeout.
It would be helpful to make it clear which node version is preferable in package.json or README.md.
