pan-ra-proxy's Issues

Server install issue

Hello,
I have tried installing pan-ra-proxy on 3 different servers and it fails on starting service saying there are insufficient rights, even changing the log on user to one I know for a fact can start services fails too. I have installed it on my workstation on same domain no problem.

Thanks for any assistance!

No debug output to Application log

Hi there.

I have installed RADIUS Accounting to Palo-Alto Networks Firewall User-ID Agent and the service has started fine. I've edit the .config file, however I'm having difficulty getting accounting information to pass through to the firewall. I'm not seeing any logging or debug messages pass through to the Application eventlog. I've added debug-enabled="true" setting, but still receive no information in the event log.

The service is running on Windows 2019 on the server with NPS installed.

I sent an email before I realise I could log a support ticket, apologies for the duplication.

Kind Regards

Christian

PAN-OS NO XML API login

I was unable to get the XML API to my firewall after logging in
troubleshot steps
-make sure NPS working fine
-make sure NPS accounting set to default directory and port 1813
-make sure logging in user is fine, via NTRadPing Test Utility
-there are NPS logs successfull
->there are no application log regarding PAN-RA-Proxy other than service start/stop, it was read 'service1'
->there are no XMLAPI logs to the FW whenever login occurs

username-filter does not work

Hi Ryan,

I use username-filter="^([0-9A-Fa-f]{12})" but still see that I receive usernames like "c83c8576d732" at the palo alto device.
regexr.com tells me that my regex should be fine.

Can you please check the code?

thanks for this
