An independent, deliberately small, public-API-only experiment for Super Productivity. It provides:
- a side-panel view of the selected task;
- Copy task ID;
blocksandfollowsrelationships between existing tasks;- navigation to linked tasks; and
- plugin-owned relationship data persisted with
persistDataSynced.
It does not modify native task records, add nested native subtasks, prevent task starting/completion, or use private NgRx actions or DOM hooks.
This is a community pilot, not an official Super Productivity project.
Version 0.1.1 uses the host-side PluginAPI.copyToClipboard() capability. The
released Super Productivity 18.21.2 application does not expose that capability
yet, so its Copy task ID button shows a compatibility warning. Use a host build
that includes the clipboard bridge before relying on task-ID copying.
The relationship view itself is experimental. Its data model is intentionally kept separate from native task records so that trying the pilot does not change the application's native subtasks, task completion, or timer behavior.
The manifest requests permissions to read the current task list and selection, select a task when a relationship is opened, show notifications, copy a task ID when the user presses the button, and persist the plugin's relationship graph. The plugin does not make network requests, execute Node.js code, read files, use private application internals, or include any personal task data in this repository.
npm test
npm run checkThe distributable plugin is written to dist/ by npm run build. Install the
contents of that directory as a ZIP with index.html, manifest.json, and
icon.svg at the archive root through Super Productivity's plugin settings for
a manual dogfood test.
The pilot stores the relationship graph as plugin-owned JSON. Super Productivity can sync that data, but it is not a native task relation entity. The plugin must be installed on every device, and simultaneous edits to the same graph need additional conflict testing before this is treated as a production-grade dependency system.
